Bipasha won the famous Ford Supermodels Contest at the age of seventeen and was also named Tulips Miss Super Vivacious. From modeling to films is a common step in today's Indian movie industry. Bipasha's debut movie was Ajnabee in 2001. The movie was fairly successful and Bipashu was quickly signed for more movies.
She attracted a lot of attention with her roles in Raaz and Jism. Jism was unusually explicit for Bollywood films. Bipasha bared lots of skin and kissed on screen.
